We're fixing a broken system

Financial education should be a right, not a privilege. We're making sure every child has access to the knowledge that creates freedom.

Team working together

How This Started

In 2019, our founder Sarah Martinez watched her 23-year-old niece declare bankruptcy. Not because she was reckless—she simply didn't understand how credit cards worked. She was never taught.

That moment crystallized a harsh truth: we send children into the world without the most fundamental life skill they'll need. We teach them algebra but not budgeting. Literature but not compound interest. History but not how to build a financial future.

Sarah, a former financial advisor who'd spent 15 years helping adults recover from preventable mistakes, decided to stop treating symptoms and address the root cause. She assembled a team of educators, child psychologists, and financial experts to build something that didn't exist: financial education that actually works for young minds.

Our Mission

To ensure that no child enters adulthood without understanding how money works, how to make it work for them, and how to use it to build the life they want.

Evidence-Based

Every technique we use is backed by research in developmental psychology and behavioral economics. We don't guess; we apply proven methods.

Age-Appropriate

An 8-year-old's brain processes differently than a 16-year-old's. Our programs respect these differences instead of using one-size-fits-all approaches.

Practical First

Theory is useless without application. Students use what they learn immediately, seeing real results that reinforce the lessons.

What We Believe

Financial literacy is a social justice issue

Wealthy families pass down financial knowledge. Everyone else's children start from scratch, perpetuating inequality. We're breaking that cycle.

Children are more capable than we think

When given proper tools and respect, young people grasp sophisticated concepts quickly. We don't dumb things down; we explain them properly.

Parents are partners, not obstacles

Financial education works best when families are aligned. We equip parents to continue the conversation at home naturally and confidently.

Real change requires behavioral shifts

Knowledge alone doesn't change behavior. Our programs focus on building habits and decision-making frameworks that last a lifetime.

Our Impact So Far

Parents report improved family financial communication

But numbers don't tell the full story. The real impact is in the confident 14-year-old who understands compound interest. The 17-year-old who negotiates their first job offer. The 11-year-old who decides to save for something meaningful instead of spending on impulse. That's what we're actually building.
